precision … precision skateboard trucks are made from machines, trucks such as Bear Smokeys, you can find those on the landyachtz website if you would like to look at them and thanks for the info
Most machines can … Most machines can reproduce accurate results Haas makes very nice machines but im sure you can get the same results out of other machines perhaps not as fast as this one can do, but i recall many skateboard trucks are made with molds seeing as many do not have machining marks on them but rather lines where two molds met, maybe the high end skateboard trucks u r talking about are machined though cant say ive seen those
Im gessing you guys … Im gessing you guys know about CNC machines. Anyway, my question has to deal with making Precision Skateboard trucks. Most companies use a CNC machine to make Precision skate trucks, but would it be better or worse to use an HAAS machine?

It’s because they … It’s because they edited the audio to make the machine and TC sound quieter. But they didn’t dampen all of the vid at once, so it sounds inconsistent.
If you listen to … If you listen to the tool changers vacuum bleeding when the tool leaves the spindle, the time is much shorter when the camera has the changer in the frame. But when the camera has the part in the frame and you hear the tool changer, the sound of the vacuum is much longer. I say BS. But it’s still impressive
I run a super speed … I run a super speed and you are right, the tool changes are blinding.. I have a 1400 ipm rapid and a .045 second tool change with a 4 pound tool..about 2.1 seconds chip to chip.. that’s really really fast.
I came off of several Mazaks, but I am really loving the Haas controller and gizmos.
Wait, I get it. If … Wait, I get it. If I just take a video of my machine, run that video in high speed, then my parts get done that much quicker! Brilliant!

funny how 3 min 20 sec is 50% faster than 5 min 9 sec…

Viewed a demo of these today, and although the tool change isn’t quite that fast, it is very close to that speed.

how many tool changes? if i progged that job my boss would have sacked me after the 4th tool change no matter how quick the ATC
